My name is Matthew.

I am a 20 year old male living in Portland, Oregon. I attend Gonzaga University and I will be studying abroad in Florence, Italy for the fall semester of 2010.

I have another blog at getthedoormatt.tumblr.com with the title “Heeeeere’s Matthew.” I might begin to phase that out or use it primarily as a way to document my trip to Italy, but I haven’t decided yet.

I decided to get a new blog because I felt like I couldn’t express myself entirely with my brother and a few friends following it. Also, my mom subscribed to the RSS feed to my blog, so I couldn’t post anything related to any topics I didn’t want her to see/know about (see: sex, drugs, alcohol, and rock n’ roll).

For those of you who don’t know me, I am a very sarcastic and laid back guy. I don’t let my emotions control me and I believe that attitude and perception are everything in life. I am a Business Administration major and I am working towards a concentration in Marketing.

Love is a really important thing to me. It is something I want more than anything else in life. I can’t wait to be a dad and have a lovely wife.

I really like music. I have thousands of songs on my computer and I love seeing other people’s musical interests on Tumblr. I really like The Office, How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs, Lost, and Futurama. My favorite movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, with Garden State coming in a close second.

I like to smoke weed, too.

I intend to tag most of my posts.

I will generally follow people who follow me, but that is based on the general quality of the Tumblr. If I don’t like the things you post, I probably won’t follow you. It’s nothing personal.
